Back again

So this last week was pretty much busy. But the main reason for silence here was the tediousness. I was fed up with these Urls, small popping up windows of msn messenger, emails, Alts & Ctrls of keyboard and mouse clicks. In this whole week the total time I have spent in front of computer is only one hour.

Meanwhile this week I had a very short trip to islo. I reached there on Friday morning. I had a piece of work at bank. Afterwards I just talked to DJ and asked him to cut some time for me. He was in his office and promised to pick me after 2 hours or so … nahi yar … It will be too late … I wanna reach home early in the evening … so I just bade him good bye and reached Karachi company … and got the bus to Lahore. Nashta Islamabad main ore shaam ka khana Lahore main. Such a quick tour it was! That’s what we call kha’ray pa’oon ka chakkar.

Wapsi pah tire of the coach punctured just on the bank of river chenaab. There driver and cleaner had an unwelcomed exercise for them! Most of the passengers got off. There was a way down to the river bank. So I just crossed the fence and went there. Beside the bank there was laying a big boat, slightly brown in color and shining in the sunlight with its full dignity but with nobody to push it into the water. Well I just dipped my hand in the muddy and slightly cold water. Chenaab was flowing very silently and calmly. There was also a couple sitting on the base of the bridge-pillar, having some sort of picnic. View of this long Bridge from below with its huge round concrete pillars was really a marvelous one. The boat was beautiful too. But i hadn’t any camera with me!

Any way reached home in time but this whole trip was very tiring … after 36 hours bed ki shakal daykhna naseeb howi … ore phir aisa soya kah bas … poray 12 ghantay sota hi raha …

In Islamabad I met a person in wagon; he was of the view that “molvis are all bastards.” Aain!!@!! Such a ruthless comment? I was literally shocked.

Being a Muslim you are calling names to those who are our religious representatives in society. Have you ever seen any Christian calling names to his popes? Ever seen any Jew or a Hindu blathering like that? They all respect their spiritual leaders. I wonder, people today don’t wanna listen anything in the favor of molvis. Keep the following things in your mind before saying anything:

Beard is not the symbol of molvi-ism.

Molvi sahibaan are very respectable.

They are not extremists. They tell us what Islam teaches us. If they are telling something else then they are not molvi. In that case they need a lesson.

The word ‘Mullah’ is for an extreme disgrace and humiliation. It shows your hatred towards them. Never use it.

I know there are many stories in the papers about molvis who were involved in illicit activities. These are the bad sheep. They are simply spoiling the image of rest of the people.

Those who are in politics are politicians first and then molvis.

What do you say?

I may sound rude but keeping a beard doesn't ONLY show that you are representing Islam.

True my dear but perhaps u havn't picked my point.

yaar munir let me state my point of view....

Firstly let me tell u that Mulla is not only used for the descrimination that u have identified...rahter in Ehl-eSunnah this is also a religious degree like in shiaism they have Ayotullahs....and it is achieved after a certain level of religious studies....

Secondly actually wat that person said to u that All Molvis are bastard or bad might be based on his experiences.....and by that he certainly did not mean the Mullahs or Molvis that i have identified in the first para rahter he should be talking about the Mullahs that we find in every other masjid and other walk of life .... who become Molvi to earn something for them and their families by only learning few Ayats of Quran and keeping a beard then they start decieving ppl and spreading hatred between sects. Like just for example let me tell u that the main Imam Masjid at our university was so illetrate that he was against the use of computer, then there are molveez in our society who are involved in illicit relationships specially gay sort of activities and then there are molvies who try to gain their political objectives in the name of Islam just for example MMA .. and Believe me that the number of these type of bad molveez are far more than the good ones .....so when someone says that He is against molveez he mean that he is against those bad pplz.

Secondly these illetrate molveez are the ones who have made beard the sunnah of Rasool (PBUH) a stigma in the society due to their sick activities......

Now coming towards the comparison of POPES and MOLVEEZ let me tell you that islam is the only religon that never supported the idea of molvi and Imam Masjid unlike christanity and Judaism. The concept of religious scholars and AALIMS is there and they have been put at a very high place in Islam but not molveez. Like in Islam it is supposed that every person living near a masjid should be capable enough to said his prayers and lead the Namaz-e-Bajamat but nowadays this is a very rare case. U only tell me a single Masjid in Rasool`s (PBUH) time that had a
nominated Imam Masjid. This concept started after many years of
Rasool`s (PBUH) Death.

Praying for the Hidayat & success of all (including me and u)
Regards,
Naqi

Im not going to comment on this post -- or may be a part of it: sounded like an interesting trip to me.
But, getting back to you on this:
"A contradiction! nothing is important, special and remembered forever! Even then such an innocent wish!

thanks for stopping by my space!"

I smell a lot of negativity in your response. Things and people just might not be remembered forever, but they sure are valued -- and are of importance, for one reason or another. And not all, but some. I dont think it can be stretched any further, or if it can -- may be I dont want it to. But .. basing on that did you respond the way you did? =D Ah, think im making your life miserable already. Muwahahah.
Ahem .... the wish just might come true. And you're welcome -- I'll continue to visit =P

I dont understand the term "Modern Islam",used by many leaders including Musharraf.

what is meant by modern Islam?islam is not like chiristianity which was altered by different Kings.

maybe they prefer other muslim countires follow Turkey.

Oh,by the way,i dont think Islam and Secularism are not different, what you say?

and the problem is the media represents it wrongly too... jews have beards..sikhs too... but when it somes to a muslim..he has to bare these damn stupid comments...
but yes still i agree with the point that there are people who are the black sheep..and the media picks them up and highlight them...
