So today I have received a call letter for an interview!!! Wohaaaa! I wasn’t expecting that. They have just sent the letter at 11th hour. Interview is on this Friday. Now I am fully active, feeling energetic and all my senses have started working properly and are ready to accept another challenge type of thingeee. Coz only two nights and lot of things to revise. So once again it’s me with books, cups of tea and Cold n foggy winter nights! In a full mood to study and to prepare for this upcoming interview. Actually it does not matter whether they call you to join or not, whether you join them or not .... appearing in these tests and interviews matters. Coz they are very important for self-evaluation. They actually tell you that where you are standing in market, what you have already learnt, how much do you know about your field and which are the things that you still have to learn. So that's why appearing in tests with full preparation and confidence is always recommended and is necessary as well. They only way to simply come outta your own moving-shell, to interact with others and to remain in touch with the goings on.

Tomorrow I have to tell another new story to my HoD so that he may grant me a leave on Friday. That’s a one big hurdle ahead. I was already on leave on last Thursday. Let us see what happens. TC.

Yesterday's Discovery: A partially mean person.

Nature of a person can be changed but it can not be changed permanently. So more or less, nature remains the same. I have personally observed this thing in many people around me. And testing a person again and agian is not a wise thing. Once you come to know about him/her, you must stop expecting any thing good or any type of favor from that side. The element of meanness always remains at their end . So, better off without them.

An apple a day keeps the doctor away.
Sharfoo was wondering: Keeps the doctor away from what??

Sharfoo heard from somewhere: Alexander the great --- was born in a plate!
The other day he was telling me: some born in a plate, some born with a spoon – that’s how people of this world started knowing about spoons and plates.

Bus Sharfoo Bus --- Bohat ho ga’ey --- Mujay Aisa Kiyon Lagta Hay Kah Tum Mujay Qatal Kurwa’oo Gay?

LESCO- Lahore Electric Supply Company is doing a real good job. They do attend the complaints made by the customers on phone calls. My brother just dialed their number and told them the problem about light fluctuation and after half hour they were knocking our door. It was simply a matter of tightening the cable connections from transformer and took them only 10 minutes. Good Work! I wasn’t expecting this quick service from them!

***

A while ago I was composing a job application form in MS Word, according to the ‘specimen format’ given in this Sunday’s Dawn that was advertised by Atomic Energy Commission of Pakistan. These forms are not available on their webpage; rather they take a test of an applicant’s skill in MS Office by giving these specimens in the papers. Fauji Fertilizer Company also does the same. And one more thing about AEC is that they don’t call for a test / interview before 3 months. And luckily if you clear all the tests and interviews then there is a long security clearance period.

‘Khaak Ho Jain Gay Tumhara Call Letter Aanay Tak’ wali baat hay….!

These days where there is a vacancy … there is my CV :) Now I know I can’t continue my present job for a long time. I am just waiting for a better or at least an equivalent opportunity.

You might be thinking why I want to switch over the job? No doubt I am drawing a handsome salary from here, environment is good too, and office is not that far from home - I am enjoying the comforts of home unlike most of my class fellows. But the strict policies of company, bland tasting food and their poor transport service are the things that are indeed a bad experience and compel me 20 times a day to put a resign on my HOD’s table- with a smile on my face “Haa Haa … I have found a better job seneeeoooorrr- goodbye”.

So Atomic Energy or the field of Oil and Gas- who offer jobs on attractive salaries & 16/14 or 20/10 Rota are in my preference now. Prayers are needed my fellow bloggers!

Perhaps it might be interesting for you to know that there are only four Polymer Plants in Pakistan and I am working on one of them! And this experience is the only good reason to stay here otherwise I would have moved from here in the very start.

So after typing down all that stuff I am feeling a bit better now. ALLAH meya whatever YOU have written for me, please let it be in my favor - for a better and prosperous future – so that all my wishes and dreams may come true!

Sharfoo was given home work to write an essay of 500 words on forests.

He had heard somewhere that a picture is worth 1000 words. So when he pasted this picture in his notebook with gum, he was very happy.

"Ajj to murghaa nahi bano ga ... home work complete hay"

Magar ........

Sha'eed kismat ajj bhi us per may'herbaan nahi thi ....

When his Ostaad Sahib checked his homework ... don't ask what happened next with him ....
